Hmm, i wonder how Gamespot news feel about you showing a competitors sites news
Anyways this is good and bad news, more people doesn't always mean a better game and bigger budget needs more sales.
But at least they are being ambitious about it and hopefully they will make a even better AC than Black Flag.

If they had reported on this, i would have shared it here. But they are usually just so slow with it. So i take it where i find it first. Dualshockers, IGN, gamespot, CVG, etc. Doesn't matter to me.
They have probably the responsibility for different parts. AC III and AC IV had at least 3 studios working on the game
@Jacanuk: They probably get there news from other gaming sites as well. That's the way of this industry; it's a game of telephone.
Hey guys, an AC thread, let's all say how much we hate AC because it's the cool and trendy thing to do and we can't form our own opinions and/or accept other people like the series. As for the game, I'm currently playing Black Flag and liking it so I'm hoping this game is at the very least on the same level as that, but I'm trying not to read too much about Unity, just waiting for some gameplay to do the talking, though as of now I have no reason to be opposed to Unity.

I bet they are heartbroken.

Yes, that was the joke.

Really? no shit i didn´t know that.
well , they want to make a full big game in less than a year . of course they need that many people
actually no, they have a 2 year cycle or more. So they have more time than that
... And it will still be same old , same old .
I actually like the series a lot
Same here. It's weird, I find appeal with AC as a series rather than individual games. To me, it's a saga that is meant to be viewed as a whole. As a result, I can't really say that any of the individual AC games are in my list of favorites. However, as a whole saga/series, it is my favorite, collectively.
I'm not expecting Unity to be as good as Black Flag, but I hope it is at least generally as entertaining.
Though, I have this really weird feeling that the protagonist is going to be a bore. Like, Connor-levels of boring. Don't know why, it's just a random, uninformed feeling.

Black Flag is probably my favorite, even though i loved Brotherhood, i look as AC 2, BH and Revelations as a whole game just like i do with Mass Effect

Your top 2 favorite AC games are Black Flag and Brotherhood, and you view AC2, BH, and Rev as one whole game.
We are going to get along well, I think :P
@Kevlar101: We haven't come across as enemies now have we :3? BH is the best one in the trilogy imho, with AC setting the standard and perhaps Revelations having the best story bit of the three because it's his farewell and it also tells you what happend to Altair and his sad tale
Please make stealth more important and deep. I don't want to be able to murder an army of enemies. I want to feel like an assassin and weave my way between them until I discretely take down my target.

There has always been an option for that mate

The problem is that there is no punishment for getting caught. If they see you and notify the others, you can just murder the entire army without much effort which makes sneaking around seem silly in the first place.

IGN and gamespot are essentially morphing into the same indistinguishable site.
