I've never played OoT and I'd really like to, is there any way I can play the original with my GC? I've heard that it's on the Collector's Edition, how much is it and is it worth it?
I don't have it myself, but it does contain four classic Zelda games inlcuding my second favourite game of all time, Ocarina of Time. It also has the demo of The Wind Waker. I'd say you get it if you can!

It will be cheaper to get them all via VC downloads in the long term, if you can wait for Zelda 2 and Majora to come to the VC service. But only by about ten bucks at it's current price.
It's definitely worth it, but the version of Majora's Mask has some problems like freezing or sound issues. However if you just want to play OoT, it'd probably be a better deal to seek out Master Quest.
Yeah it's worth it. I have it and it has the original Legend of Zelda, The Adventure Of Link, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. All of which are amazing games in my opinion plus it has a playable demo of the Wind Waker so you could see if you like that game too.
I would recommend the Collector's Edition. By default, it has two of the greatest games of all time on it, making it the greatest collection of all time. With Master Quest, you still get Ocarina of Time and a remix of that game...but the Collector's Edition is a better value. Even priced at $40 used, the Collector's Edition is still a worthwhile purchase.

Yes, they are different. The Collector's Edition has the original Legend of Zelda (NES), Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES), Ocarina of Time (N64), and Majora's Mask (N64). The Master Quest disk has Ocarina of Time, and a remixed version of Ocarina of Time, which has different locations of some enemies and items. The Collector's Edition does not have the OoT remix version, so if all you want is OoT, then Master Quest may be the better choice.Â
i would get it, i have it and it is great, controls, graphics are same, it's a great buy. also the AR CODES! i love those, i use 'em on there, on OoT has 137 codes and MM has more, yea i would get along with AR. i have both so HA!lol

you really have to buy it, it´s totally woth it, it also has majoras mask, zelñda and zelda II, zelda and zelda II are not so good but I would totally pay 50 dollars only 40 oot

It has Zelda,Zelda 2, OoT, and Majora's Mask. I hadn't chosen to check out any Zelda game until recently. The //n54 games are both fun. Therre's also a demo of Wind Waker.

Tho it took me avout 2 years to find a copy of it...I saw it at gamestop and it was 40 there 2 copies of it, so I was waiting for it to cost less, then there was only one copy left so I bough it.
And yes its worth it, specially when you havent played these games before.Â

Hell yes, if you see it pick it up, it also includes Masters Quest (OOT but a bit different/harder)
totally worth it, i had played ocarina of time but I had never finished it, I bought this game like a year ago and I enjoyed it a lot, zelda and zelda II are not so good but ocarina of time is perfect and majoras mask is good
A resounding YES, from me, it is most definitely worth it. The only downfall to this set is that it does not include A Link to the Past, but other than that, it has the original Zelda, and arguably the greatest Zelda of all time: Ocarina of Time. If you are any kind of Zelda fan, this is a must own.
 yer definately i brought mine for £5 from a friend who was selling all his games for gamecube then i had 2 copies and sold it on for £30 so it wicked i have completed 2 times...
I think it really is worth it. I would suggest the whole VC thing as well except, if you dont have a Wii, that wont work. And two, if your Wii ever breaks, you loose all that money because the games are tied specifically to that system!
I got my CG much later than most.. and it had a copy included with it.. but even if it hadn't I'd have gotten a copy.. it's a great series.. OOT and Majora's Mask are well worth the price.. definately grab a copy if you can.
it is deifinitly worth it but i don't think you can find it at stores unless someone has traded it in because it isn't for purchase..u had to get it when u bought a gamecube or subscribed to nintendo power but u cant get it those ways anymore
