Normally, I'd throw the typical "Wind Waker", "Metroid Prime", "Twilight Princess", "Resident Evil 4", "Super Smash Bros Melee", type suggestions at you, but since you decided to ignore the other 30 posts of this variety, I'll give you the super duper secret list of NGC must haves: "Bad Boys Miami Takedown" and "Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly"
Always a difficult question, since I have no idea what kind of games you like. I think it is widely agreed that these games are the best the Gamecube has to offer:
Resident Evil 4
Metriod Prime
Eternal Darkness
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Tales of Symphonia
Pikmin 2
Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door
Resident Evil Remake
Super Mario Sunshine
F-Zero GX
Soul Caliber 2
I would also mention Super Smash Brothers Melee, Super Mario Kart Double Dash and Animal Crossing are great games, but these versions of these games are outdated or soon will be.

Well I like action games , fps, strategy, racing, I don't want any games of which updated versions will be available on the wii...the top 3 on your list particularly interest me...are they truly worth it!
Tales of Symphonia for sure and Eternal Dakness is very much underappreciated, also, Beyond Good and Evil. Yeah, it's on other platforms but if you're looking for good games that sure is one.
I think those are the heart and soul of what makes the GC a great system, and what makes it stand out from other systems.
It might be wise to hold off on SSBM, since SSBB will be on the Wii soon. However, don't skip the 2 Metroid Prime games, the 3rd game is coming on Wii but its the next chapter, so you should get the first 2 chapters.

Hard to say. Maybe SSM, maybe super monkey ball, maybe animal crossing, maybe Metroid Prime, maybe Eternal Darkness. Maybe you should make a pole with 10 or 15 stand out Gamecube games.
