They look identical to the official gamecube controller besides the lack of a logo on top of it. They are a bit cheaper though so does anyone know if they have the same quality as the original controller. I just got a cube after all these years and was looking for some extra controllers to play smash bros with some friends. Thanks.

Hmm... in general, all 3rd-party controllers are awful compared to 1st party ones, but that really does look like a 1st-party GC controller without the logo... if you can get a 1st party controller for cheap (they have them for $15 on Amazon IIRC) then juts do that.

I have Madcatz GC controller. It is awful and is not even comfortable to hold!

I would not recommend using 3rd party controllers

3rd party controllers can usually burn out the controller sockets so i wouldnt reccomend it, just buy a first party controller

That sort of happened to me. After a year, whenever I would plug in my 3rd party controller, with 3 others plugged in, the GC would just shut off. Instantly. I got rid of it, and now my GC works fine, with Nintendo brand controllers. Plus, the 1st party controllers are more comfortable, and the joysticks are easier to use.

i have 2 madcatz ones also. They are a bit smaller and "look" alot cheaper than the originals, but they function just the same.

i have 3rd party controllres. they are cheap and work fine.
who cares if theyre uncomfortable, just give your friends the knockoffs and keep the original for yourself!! :D

You're looking at last-gen third party controllers, usually the next gen ones are more reliable this time around...granted they aren't from MadCatz or Pelican...

I own Hori SNES Pad. I have no problems. I have some problems with Playstation's Mad Catz controller. I decide to purchase only Hori controllers include arcade stick.

I have a couple Mini-Gamecube controllers... the D-pad is a big improvement, over the offical controller, because it's bigger and easier to use when playing games like Megaman or Sonic... the C-Stick sucks because the rubber tip came off, and the A button seems to not react as quickly as i want

With every system I've ever bought, all other brands hav sucked hard when it came to controllers. only buy nintendo. The others break, down't work from the start, hav gay logos on them (not a big deal, but nintendo just looks better). Only EVER buy the original brand of 1st party. trust me.
