Lightning - Lightning was an ex-military soldier of the Coccoon facility.She was made an I'Cie against her will as she searched for what seems to be called the Fal'Cie of Pulse,the world below Coccoon.She started using a false name since her parents died so she can take care of Serah as the role of a older sister but this deepened the chasm between the two.Her Eidolon Summon is Odin.Her I'Cie Mark is on her chest I think...or so sources say.Apparently Odin have two forms,that of a horse or humanoid.
Snow Villers - He is about to become an I'Cie but he is only a full fledged I'Cie in the later plot.He also holds great strength and agility and is the leader of the rebellion group called Nora. (Sounds alot like AVALANCHE if you ask me) After he became a full fledged I'Cie he could summon the Eidolon Shiva sisters,Nix and Styria.The Shiva sisters can turn into a motorbike.
Oerba Da Vanille - A tribal-looking girl who lives down on the world of Pulse.Her weapon is something like a rod....a fishing rod perhaps?Either way,her Eidolon Summon is Carbuncle.
Sazh Katzroy - A man who Lightning knew since her time in the military.Sazh specialises in his dual pistols and can hit foes accurately from a distance.Sazh's wife died 3 years ago and is left with only his one and only son,Dajh,who he is seperated from and his main goal is to find him.His also morally strong but also emotionally weak and has the tendency of tears.His I'Cie mark is around his neck.He also keeps a chocobo chick in his afro.His Eidolon Summon is a Knight of some sort...
Dajh - The 6 years old child of Sazh who was taken away by The Sanctum due to his place as a I'Cie.The baby chocobo belongs to him as well.
Two Unnamed characters? - There is a tattooed woman with black hair who have a mark of the I'Cie on her left shoulder and she works for PSICOM despite her place as a I'Cie and the other one seems to be Hope's father,who was placed in such a position because of his son's place as a I'Cie.
Hope Estheim - His fourteen by the way.He uses a boomerang for combat.His mother died protecting him with the Nora,which induces a strong hatred within Hope towards Snow.Hope also argued against Snow about "helping the I'Cie".
Serah Farron - Younger sister of Lightning and is apparently the first I'Cie in Coccoon.She is also the fiance of Snow and the two cherish each other (I think) but Lightning doesn't approve of their relationship.However,tragedy strikes and Serah was crystalised so Snow and Lightning formed a very uncomfortable alliance in order to save her.It is said that Serah plays a critical role in the plot....sounds interesting eh?
Jihl Nabaat - A cruel and cunning woman whose intent on destroying the I'Cie of which she sees as non-humans / monsters / sub-humans.
Yaag Rosch - Second in command in Nabaat's forces and also was once Lightining's superior.He feels that it is his duty to follow his orders for the sake of the people of Coccoon but he starts to question his duties and that of the Holy Government.The group his in is known as The Sanctum.
Nora - Those in Nora are named Maqui,a young man with the tendency to worry alot,Lebreau,a woman who uses a shotgun and she's the team's medic and Gadot,a man who uses a submachine gun in combat.Gadot and Lebreau are apparently childhood friends of Snow as well.Maqui,apparently,doesn't actively take part in battles either.
