I thought the story line was the movies biggest fault. It was, at heart, a simple rehash of FFVII, and it served as nothing more than a poorly written excuse to get to the next so over the dop it is rediculous fight scene. The movies strongest point is easily it's art and animation, which were wonderful. All in all, it really isn't very good. The Spirit Within was a much better flick, just based on the story alonefs_metal
WHHHAAAAT, you thought the spirit within was good!?!?!?!?!?, my god, that movie had nothing to do with FF whatsoever, the only reference to it was the name.Â

Not true. It borrowed plot lines from previous FFs, especially V and VII. Those were it's connections with the series. Those are what made it FF[QUOTE="Headbanger88"]I'm surprised you found enough plot in there to write all of that!fs_metalAs am I. I mean, the movie is basically bare bones plot
it may just be me, but i thought the plot was very good in this movie, i however have never played FFVII, lol not by choice thats for sure, im trying to get a copy. I had a copy once, a year ago when i bought my FFVII and FFVIII it didnt work on my ps2 because it was old and didnt read blue back and older games, so i took it back, and never saw it again . . . . . i think about it every day lol :D
