Most of the final fantasy games are excellent but are there any thatr you dislike
There are only 2 FF's I do not like at all, X-2 and Mystc Quest...
all other ones in the main series and tactics advance are good! :)
I've never played the original tactics, though it certainly looks good...
I cannot connect with Dirge of Cerberus. Aside from the visuals and the familiar characters, I think Square made bad use of Vincent's potential as a videogame superstar.

Story wise I thought it was good. But gamewise, it was quite a flop. This game looked like the mediocre version of Resident Evil 5 or the Syphon Filter series.
I wouldnt say I disliked any of the FF games. Then again i havent tried dirge or many of the handheld ones yet.
yeah, for me it was XII, i wish i could say i liked it but i just couldn't get into it and wasn't even that interested in the overall story. X-2 wasn't the best but you had familier characters and if you were like me u were dying to find out if Tidus was still alive. so i dislike it the most, wish i didn't but i do.

Final Fantasy VIII
Dirge of Cerberus
Final Fantasy Legend 1-3
Final Fantasy: Unlimited was terrible. IT was an anime
Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crtystals was an anime as well. IT was also terrible
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a joke. The plot is terrible. IT is nothing more than a rehash of the original plot that has been stripped of all it's meat to make way for fight scenes, which were poorly choreographed and absurdly over the top, and this is coming from soneone that loves action flicks.
Final Fantasy X-2
Dirge of Cerberus really didn't get the favor of the fans. :? I wish they could revive it under a better concept of play.
[QUOTE="frostbourne"]It needs alot mroe than a better concept of play. It needs developement by an experienced team that knows how to do shootersDirge of Cerberus really didn't get the favor of the fans. :? I wish they could revive it under a better concept of play.

Yeah. People from Resident evil or Devil May Cry can help.

Final Fantasy II

It was amazing and special for an NES game. At the time, it was the pinacle of story telling and was the first to try to add depth to the characters. It also tried some new things.I have liked them all ive played so far i wouldnt say ive disliked any. then again you are talking to a fanboyjohngebreadmanMeh.. i dont mean any disrespect, but everyone here hold Final fantasy on special regards... saying u like them all because your a fan boy is a copout imo, surely there has to be some titles that didnt strike your attention as much as others, then again it all depends on when you first started playing final fantasies.. and if that time is around the release of ff7 and on then technically your "fanboy" claim is less then stellar
i did not like final fantasy 12. reminded me way to much of ffxi when u play that for 3 years about you kinda don't really want to play the samething again. it was like final fantasy 12 was trying to be a mmorpg like .hack but fell way short of it. my opion anyway. ffx-2 also 3 people and no tidus wtf lol...deathknightleoff12 and 11 alike? can u be a little more specific than compareing it to .hack?

I was thinking more like ValveBut then it will become more like a first shooter game. :? And we wouldn't really want that. I prefer 3rd person shooter games. :D

It was amazing and special for an NES game. At the time, it was the pinacle of story telling and was the first to try to add depth to the characters. It also tried some new things.I disagree. IMO, it wasn't the pinnacle of storytelling, and it certainly wasn't the first RPG to try to add depth to its characters. Unless you're talking about the FF series itself...
Most of the new things it tried were incredibly broken, especially the levelling system.

It work3d fine when I played it and FFII did take it all to newe levels dude[QUOTE="deathknightleo"]i did not like final fantasy 12. reminded me way to much of ffxi when u play that for 3 years about you kinda don't really want to play the samething again. it was like final fantasy 12 was trying to be a mmorpg like .hack but fell way short of it. my opion anyway. ffx-2 also 3 people and no tidus wtf lol...ThreeVoff12 and 11 alike? can u be a little more specific than compareing it to .hack?
final fantasy 12 just felt like a mmorpg. but was nothing like this. comparing this to .hack was reason as this. .hack stats it is trying to make you feel like you are playing a mmorpg but your not they try to make the charecters like you are in one. final fantasy 12 looks acts and has almost the same kinda fighting style as final fantasy 11 whoch is a online game. sure ffxii had a story line but i really felt they were trying to make it like a mmorpg for some reason. maybe i feel this was becuase i played ffxi so long. but you just notice alot of the same in both games i feel. hope this kinda cleard it up.
Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XI (I can't spend my whole life playing a game online, sorry)
I'm now playing Dirge of Cerberus after much speculation and I really don't like the gameplay, but the story intrigues me.
And I'm a little skeptic about Revenant Wings, but I loved XII.
