Well mate, you are pretty much being driven round by the computer, your controls are very limited. Actaully you do the formation lap without touching your controller, what use is that. I was so unimpressed by this feature that I turned it off, if its the same on PS3 with the safety car thing being the same as well they dont need to bother at all. Im gonna play the game a bit later on and then post some more comments.

I'll get the game very soon, but from your posts guys, it doesn't sound too promising.

I have a few questions regarding the game:
1. What rating would you give it on a scale of 10?
2. Is the gameplay more fun than F1'05?
3. How's the commentary this time?

1. I would give it an 8, its a good game but to be honest the game brings nothing new and is actually an updated version of F1 05.
2. The gameplay is definitely more fun and better then 05 because its harder.
3. The commentary is a bit better and is now featured in career too.

I only started to actually do the last part of qualifying in my second season, because with the Torro Rosso I didnt see much point of driving the third part of qualy so I always started from 10th if I made it that far. But now in my second season Im with Renault so now I have to drive the 3rd part, I already got three poles and got my fourth one today but when the game tried to load the race it failed. I also got three or so wins and Im half through the season.

what difficulty have you put it on, i put it on hard. and i'm finding the end of the season hard, but the beggining is easy.

I've always had the difficulty on hard. Tip: Magny Cours by far the easiest track to win on.

Has any1 noticed that this version is full of bugs? Yea its a lot harder and thats great, but so far i've found 3 major bugs.

1.AI cars weave down the straight on the first lap as if they're on their parade lap again, then start racing after the first corner?

2.After trying race car evolution u cant pause or look behind anymore?

3.With rolling starts on the computer crashes into walls before it gives over control?

I really hate living here in America and not getting the Formula 1 games.

With me not getting the PS3 until who knows when, I won't even have a chance to get SCEE's version of the game sent over here for the PS3 for a long time.

Even though they are not the best, I wish EA would make the games again so that way it would be multi platform and I could get F1 games again. If not Ea then some other company should get the rights.

since i'm at Mclaren now in 1st driver ;), i just skip straight to Quali, i'm on 52 points in the championship, with Alonso 5pts behind me, when i get a chance i'll post my latest Championship Standingskipi19

Season 1: I raced with Toro Rosso, finished 10th in the season, won the Bahrain GP,

Season 2: Test seat at BMW until Hungary, no wins, finshed 13th, No Contract renewal at end of season

Season 3: 1st Driver seat at McLaren, Won 5 GPs so far, currently 1st in the championship with 52pts and a 5pt cushion over Alonso, currently on the Canadian GP.

I race on Hard Difficulty, 20% race distance and i turn Fuel & Tyre wear to Scaled, so i do 1 pit stop, All Assistants are off, stability control is on weak, and i use manual gears,

i did a trial for them at the beggining of season 3 and they wanted me for 1st driver, i'm not complaining, the only thing that bothers me is, that when your in second seat at a team like Renault and you want to be alongside Alonso, you should have a choice if you want to be promoted to 1st driver if you wanted like F1'04 does.

i made a mistake about how many wins i had, it was 4, but is now 5 after the Canadian GP :Pkipi19

Get this, i went to indianpolis after Montreal, the car was working ok, but my lack of knowledge of the circuit didn't help me in qualiy, i ended up 13th on the grid, but that didn't bother me, i started the race and got to 8th at the 1st corner, and after lap 2 i was in 5th, and that was where i stayed for the rest of the race, i thought it was a decent finish for my efforts, and after the race, i checked my inbox, and i got an OFFICIAL WARNING form the team, i was gobsmacked, i got the same from the spanish GP as well, its ridiculous, you'd think the team would be happy with some points

and i have now taken stability control off, and i found a bug in the game also, when i have an accident in the race or qualiy, i go to look at it in the replay, and it doesn't show what happened, it sometimes makes you do something in the replay that you didn't do

I'm currently watching On The Spot and they showed F1 06 for the PS3 and it looks f'n awesome! Sadly I don't think I'll be buying a PS3 in the near future.

Has Anyone finished a season in career with 18 wins.

I came close in a Ferrari with 16 wins and two seconds in Turkey and Italy, and I also got 12 poles.

This was set on hard with the race distance set 50% and no driver aids.
