New F1 games coming?

I love Formula 1 championship edition on my PS3, but the roster is way out of date and there's no way to update it manually :(

Does anyone have info on when a new Formula 1 game will come to PS3 any time soon? So excited about the upcoming F1 season... can't wait!! :lol:

Formula 1 2008 will come out sometime this year under the EA licence, I believe it will be released for the PS3 but don't know for certain. Pretty sure it will though.

I was hoping it would be coming out for the ps2. Its the only console i own. this sucks :(

That's still possible. I reckon EA would launch a new F1 game on the 360, PS3, maybe Wii, but more likely PS2. And of course the PSP is still a possibility.

I love it too, but they cuold have made it like F1'99 when they included driver changes, as it was finished at Christmas 06 and released in March 07

Yeah youré right.... But i can't find anything about EA and F1 coming together making a new game of the saga's..... I realy hope that i comes, i mean Championship Edition is freakin good! but not completley new:(

everyone do yourself a favour and get a game for PC called RFACTOR if your not convinced by the cheesy game title type.. 'Rfactor F1" into youtubeGreg_888_v8

Yeah it's the best F1 game ever made when you have the right mods. Fsone 2006 + ProF1tr skin pack for 2007 + TVstyle mod will give the best simulation of F1 of all time. MMG 2007 will be even better when it is re-released without the bugs. The best thing about rFactor is that it's totally customisable, so if I think the safety car is being deployed too often, or the AI is causing mayhem in Monaco, I can just tweak some fairly simple settings.
