should you use the souls from bosses or nameless soldiers?

i was looking at videos on youtube, this walkthru, somebody kept all the souls, is there something going on there?

just use it all up, then level up!!

i think i made a boo boo. i looked up dark souls 1 gamefaqs. said keep them all to create new weapons and shields for new game+

Keep bosses, use all the soldier ones. As you pointed out you can use them to craft weapons later on.

Boss souls are used to create special weapons which may or may not be suitable for your build. Usually they're useless. Also sometimes you get a magic spell or miracle from a boss soul.
