Hello dear hollows, I just got a BK Greataxe +5 and I wanted to replace my BK Sword +5 with it but, at 50 STR, even though the greataxe is supposed to do 613 damage, and BK Sword is supposed to do 504 damage, my BK Sword ALWAYS hits harder. I've tried it on Undead Soldiers, Black Knights, Sentinels and Silver Knights, and the sword always outdamages the axe by around 20-30 points. Why is this happening? Does the BK Sword have some hidden damage modifier? I really wanted to use the greataxe because of its awesome moveset, but those 30 points worth of damage have killed me due to carelessness more than once. Could anyone help me out? BK weapons are the BEST in the game, no matter what everyone else says.
