What are you most proud of in your collection? with me it's me Zelda collection for my game cube.

when i was in school i was the only person in my class with an N64, every one else had playstations. i felt like a bit of a gaming nomad. i always used to say how great the n64 was but nobody listened to me. back to my point, i had the n64 since it came out in '96 and i stoped buying games for it when i got my dream cast in '99, and not once did i play any zelda game on it. i played all the n64's zelda games on the gamecube and even by todays high standards i thought that they were the some of the best game i have ever played. apart from majora's mask which i thought was a bit too starnge.

nope, it was the answer to the SS6, it had 2 ete ports, it had 8 detachable/rearrangeable parts and was compatible with FAR less games...

For me, it is difficult to name a single Jewel, but I can narrow it to two:

Golvellius: The Valley of Doom and Kenseiden, both on SMS.  Neither is very rare, expensive, or hard to find, but I love both of those games and I have from the first 5 seconds of playing them.  I'll bet you all thought I was going to say Valkyrie Profile or some other high-dollar title... :D

I don't really have that one I would really consider a gem yet, but if I was to pick now, I'd pick Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for PS2. If nothing else, it is worth quite a bit (about $70), which I was unware of until someone pointed it out here and I looked it up myself.

Usagi, I think that qualifies as a gem, since it took me two years to find a copy at a price I was willing to pay, plus it's a good game.

I wish I could nab the XBOX one, when the game came out I didn't have an XBOX yet but I pre-ordered the ps2 one because I also didn't have a dreamcast yet....

hmmm....

My Suikodens, Valkyrie Profile, Secret of Mana, Snow Brothers....I'm glad I have them, but I dont know about 'Jewel'....

Actually, I think my favorite game in my collection is a SNES cart that someone made for me.  It has Treasure Hunter G and Clock Tower on it; both in english. :)  I know its not a 'legit' game (though I do own both games in their original form - SFC carts), but I hate ROMs, and I REALLY wanted to be able to play these on a console, but I dont understand Japanese at all...so someone I knew online was kind enough to dump the english-patched ROMs onto a SNES cart for me. :)

not a joke.
DSC- the combos are of and difficult to pull off (slightly altered from the originals)
KOF- you haven't played ALL of the portable KOF games, don't lie. (unless in rom form)
SFA2/3- I can't beleive you would use that as an example, the sheer lack of butons and speed hurt those too much...
PSC isn't out yet, I wouldn't be surprised if the butcher it.
I myself know there are better portable fighters but for it's time it is a very well made game.

I don't know if I have any true jewells in my collection -- other people with better collections and taste would have to judge that. But two games in my collection that I treasure are my Mario Bros. Dual Screen Game & Watch and my Gameboy copy of Sword of Hope.

Hmmm...there are a few.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS, non gh)
North and South (NES)
Namco Museum Volumes 4 & 5 (PS)
Beamrider (Atari 5200); I think 5 people on GS have it.

That's the best of the best, I guess.

*edit* I don't know how I forgot these...my entire Channel F collection.
