One of my guys (I work with disabled adults) is a fan of older systems. I know nothing about this one. Wiki'd it but that's about it.

Any ideas regarding prices for games? TRS specialty sites? Or any brick and mortar stores that carry this stuff in NYC metro area (he doesn't have a credit card)?

thanks!

I had one a long time ago and had two games on cassette tape: Zaxxon and Frogger, but I have no idea what they're worth (either hardware or software) any more. I'd check some values on Digital Press, and see if anyone in the Classi c Gaming Thread over there would have leads on a brick and mortar in NYC. Closest I know of would be the Digital Press store, but that's in New Jersey.

Wow. Also, Hey Ginny, it's always good to see you. I have no idea what they'd go for in the US. I know there are good sites out there that I have visited, I just google to find them.

I'd steer clear of the tape games, it's just not worth it. There are some good cartridge games like Microbes (asteroids / geometry wars clone) Stellar Life Line etc... I LOVE mine, but that's because I learnt to program on it, don;t know if I'd suggest it to someone who had no familiarity with it though. If it means something to one of your guys though, it would be worth every penny, I'm thinking, that you could probably get into one for less than $100 if you found someone selling all their swag.
