That just sounds like the CSS is failing to load to me, a screenshot of the issue would be helpful to confirm though.
I'm guessing the issue is consistent when using Safari? In which case try opening the 2 linked CSS pages below - they should appear as walls of text, if they don't then something is preventing access to the CSS pages, possibly an add-on.
If it's intermittent then try simply refreshing the page whenever it occurs - a slow or unreliable net connection can cause such issues to occur intermittently and there's not much that can be done about that beyond improving your net connection.
At a glance the site is using just 4 different CSS pages - 2 of which are just for the WYSIWYG editor rather than the whole page layout and can be ignored for the time being.

The static1/static2 subdomains can be removed and the CSS pages should still load, I've left them in as they appear to be the default subdomains used to determine appearance on initial page load and are therefore the ones that the browser will be attempting to use normally - changing the theme mid page uses other subdomains but it reverts to the static1/2 versions upon loading a new page or a page refresh.
