Video problems - troubleshooting advice please

This problem started occurring after the new website change. I am having video playback issues. My connection is just fine and the audio never cuts out. With any video I watch on this site about a couple of minutes into a video my video starts to glitch out and stutter for a couple more minutes then sometimes clears up again , like I said the audio is smooth throughout the entire video.

I am running the newest version of Firefox and playing the vid on a 720p television (not a monitor). What's going on? any troubleshooting advice? Does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe it's something with the flash player? Try updating or reinstalling it. Also, does this happen with other browsers as well?

@harry_james_pot: It seems to only happen on Firefox. I tried it on IE and the video ran smooth. I went and reinstalled adobe flash and the video still stutters in Firefox.

Hmm.. If you have add-ons installed in Firefox, try disabling them and see what happens.
