Site avatar won't change

When I post comments on articles and videos and whatnot, it still shows my old avatar(scary clown) from the previous site design. I since changed it in my profile settings and changed all my pics to the new one (Lester from GTA) yet it hasn't changed. It only shows my new one in the forums. Can someone fix this or am I missing something?

It's a common problem with the livefyre system, which handles the comments here on GS. There's been multiple threads on the issue already, and the answer seems to be wait until livefyre fix it.
You can also try deleting cookies or re-upload the avatar and see what happens.
