Post in Forum, Message Not There?

I'm finding that I'm posting in the forum, and some of my messages don't show up in the thread or in my history. Is this is a common issue?

Does it appear initially when posted but then is no longer present when you leave and re-enter the thread a little bit later? If so it's very likely to be a bug. I've also noticed an odd bug that has some posts that are visible on the forums not appear in forum history - no idea what causes that atm though.

It does appear initially when posted. I re-enter the thread, and it's not there. I check my forum history, and my post does not show up there either. It's strange.

I'm having a similar problem :( My posts don't show up in the thread, BUT they do on my profile...not sure what's going on...

@sonic_spark: I am not having that problem currently, but I had something similar before. For that case long ago, it was solved when I deleted the entries for GameSpot in my browser cache.

Okay, I have come to a conclusion. I cannot post in System Wars. This is an inconvenience to say the least.

My post in System Wars shows up at first then keeps disappearing. It was in the System Wars Game of the Year thread.

Edit: seems to be OK now.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with posting in System Wars, if you could just answer a few questions for me I'll be able to see what type of insight I can offer:

• What is your Operating System
• Are you using any plug-ins or extension, if so what are they?
• What is your Internet Browser
• Are you using a home network to access the internet or something like a library/university/college/business connection?

The postings are still inconsistent with System Wars. I have managed to make some postings as of late.

1.) Windows XP

2.) No plug-ins or extensions.

3.) Google Chrome

4.) Home Network

This problem also happens at work.

2.) No plug-ins or extensions.

4.) Work network (only 8 or so computers have access).

I've tried testing this with Chrome and Firefox, but unfortunately I'm unable to replicate this issue. I'll still file a report and hopefully the devs will be able to both replicate and fix this problem.

I keep trying to post in SW, and the red bar comes up saying "OOPS........". Nothing is posting

I know what they're talking about. This is complicated. Imagine five floating windows one after the other in parallel. They each move side to side at known but different rates. Sometimes they are all at the same location and your post goes right through all five and out the other side into oblivion. That's what's happening to you, metaphorically. The good news is the post is there it will just take a few minutes to show up when this happens. Its for the best, trust me.

Yes, this has happened to me as well. Make sure you do a copy of your text before you submit your post. I've try to post messages on the forums and will get the 3 hearts and then they will disappear and nothing is posted. I'll refresh the page and nothing shows up, so I have to paste my post in the field and submit it again. Sometimes the posting will fail and the text will still be there and you can submit it again and it might work. It's hit or miss.

I still can't post ANY comments on NEWS or REVIEWS. When is that going to get fixed?

@blackace: If you can't comment on news or articles. That's not us. We use livefyre for that. Is there any possibility that you've been banned by livefyre?
