No 'followed by' alerts

I just got followed by someone on the site today and didn't receive a PM that they had done so like I did before the changeover.

I don't know if this is related to the bug where people don't get game update alerts anymore or not but just thought I'd point it out.

How did you learn you are followed now?

I just noticed the number of followers I have went up. But obviously that's not going to work everytime...

I hope there is a PM notifying users about being followed. The notification system is not working well enough. It seems like it should have been tested more before the site went live.

I believe that notifications are currently not working as intended, you should be getting messages when users follow your profile. I'll add this to the list of things that need to be fixed. Thank you for reporting.
