I had almost 1,300 posts. Why does it say I only have 716? Is it because the site is glitchy or because a mod thought it would be funny to reduce my level dramatically?

I like how everyone assumes a mod did something something like this. :? How does reducing the level of a user affect the post count? Levels are different from the post count...
I believe during the transition a few months of post data didn't make it over. That is why you don't have the post count you are supposed to. I lost 6,000. No biggie.

Yeah, I lost tons of posts. I'm guessing it's because I hung out on the sports board alot. Speaking of which, why are our posts about the sports board getting ignored?

Not entirely sure on that. It's possible that they could be answered tomorrow. The staff are most likely super busy when they are online. I say give it sometime.
Same with me.
I was at around 4100 posts, at level 53....around 30%.
Now I am back to level 52 - 38%, with only 3880+ posts.
I know it happened to everyone, but it still sucks.
Hi everyone,
From what I can gather, any posts you made in the Unions or User-Created Boards didn't feed over to the new GameSpot, and therefore everyone's post counts will be lower as a result. Regional boards and other boards may have also been left behind, which may also also be attributable to a loss of posts.
With regards to user levels, I believe these may be approximately over 1 month old as the beta site used data from August 2013. I do not know whether these will be updated.
I am sorry for the lack of information; if I hear anything I'll let you know.

I've definitely made more than 5000 posts in unions. In that case, it must be from the unions that won't be carried over that I've lost these posts from?

Well it's certainly appreciated for the info you did give! It makes sense I'd assume if some of those really specific boards or union post didn't make it over. That would probably explain why it didn't seem to me a big chunk of posts were taken from me (though I do notice my numbers are 'off' a bit: as I posted more in the regular forums than UCF or unions). And the August thing seems to make some sense, too, since they did say at some point before we all get switch over that they'd have to 'freeze' our level data for transitioning over. I lost about 25% off my level (thankfully I was higher up in the leveling scale that I didn't drop a level) and went for 96% of level 35 down to 71% (or at least that's where it 'froze' at)--which I believe that the percentage level I was at in August or so.
Still kinda weak, tho, but understandable, lol.

sounds about right, don't forget ucbs as well, they won't be included either
I went from 314 posts to 0 posts after the new site launched, I wonder if I will ever get them back.

Well, I rarely ever posted in UCBs though.
