@Thanatos2k: Sir, you just accused me of avoiding answering you as as a direct response to a concise answer I gave you.

Because you continually answer only part of the question, deliberately and evasively. The question you're avoiding is: Who are the members of Gamespot that have the power to make this decision? That is the question. A member of the Gamespot Staff posted in the thread you linked earlier that was in the Bug Reporting and Feedback forum saying "I'll show this to those who have the power to decide if we are keeping Livefyre or not." so it's clear the GameSpot Staff does not have this power. Who does?

There seems to be an extremely virulent case of "Pass the buck" on this issue.

@Thanatos2k: Livefyre was implemented quite some time before the site redesign, but that's fair enough criticism - though I can't promise anything in terms of what will happen.

On who makes/oversees such decisions - we're volunteer moderators and are little more privy to the inner workings of the company than you or any other user is, so we can't say with confidence exactly who makes the decision, and as such it would be inappropriate to give a name of a specific staff member as that would be little more than an attempt to hold them accountable, regardless of whether or not they're actually the person (or group of people) making said decision. Sure my guess would probably be more informed than yours, but it'd still be a guess. Arguably it doesn't even really matter who makes the decision either, so long as concerns make their way up to said person and the decision isn't taken lightly. Said staff post is merely saying that the information is going to be passed on to those higher up in the GS work hierarchy too. It's worth noting that those making the decisions are unlikely to have the time to read and reply to threads on the forums much due to other responsibilities either, but information will still be passed onto them as appropriate nonetheless.

As an aside/update on the pending/filter issues: it's well under control now and will hopefully stay that way, so all comments caught by the filter will hopefully be allowed through (or removed if inappropriate) within a far more reasonable time period. The filter itself still needs some work if livefyre is going to be staying long term however as it currently involves quite a lot of manual work.

@Thanatos2k: You are calling me a liar.

Good luck with that.

No, I said you are refusing to answer the question and being evasive, because that's what you are doing. RobotOpBuddy has the decency to answer the question for you, and the answer is "We don't know." And that's fair enough.

Sorry, that is not what I am doing. You accusatory comments are not something I should have to deal with. Please keep that in mind when conversing with people you ask questions because not everyone will respond kindly to such comments. Have a nice day.

Comment pending is very annoying. Even if you use acronyms. I used the word xbone yesterday. The comment with the word was not allowed. How do I delete my account?

@BranKetra: I'm having this "pending" comment issue right now..and my comment has no profanity or any URL within it..I've had no problem before but suddenly I am now..how long does it take to decide and if its deleted how do I deal with it...the absolutely no reason for this..kinda frustrating to say the least.

Edit:..my comment was pending because I used the phrase b-u-t-t-h-u-r-t in my paragraph.. How can that be a legitimate reason to make my comment pending..I reposted it and changed it to b**thurt and it posted..thats ridiculous

@kxgeoffxp: There is an auto-filter that detects certain things and changes the status of particular comments to pending, though it is not without fault.
