KNOWN ISSUE - Problems Logging In Update

Update: Share error message and OS/Browser version.

If you're having a problem logging in, can you share a screenshot of the error message? Also, please share your browser version (IE9, etc) and operating system (WinXP, etc).

Started experiencing it as of yesterday.I never logged out but I couldn't log back on,just got reverted back to the previous pxage over and over again,tried like 15 times gave it break,tried another 3 and worked,had the same problem today.

@JodyR I couldn't login this evening - my password wasn't being accepted - cleared all cookies, cache, restarted browser with no luck - ended up having to reset password, and finally managed to log in again.

I had a problem logging in to the website, so I had to reset my password.

The biggest problem is that this is the third time this has happened to me. I wish this could stop, it is really annoying.

Nope, it happened again. Only solution was (again), to restore the password!

Keep getting this error. Doesn't matter which of the 3 browsers i use. Chrome, firefox or IE. If i reset my password it logs me in ... if i logout thats it until i change it again! i am on like password 3. been a gamspot member for like 10 years.

Windos 7 64bit

newest firefox and chrome....

also when i try to log in and confirm i am human ... the image with the words to type isn't not shown!

I've been logged into GS in Chrome for a day or so on Windows 8. Tried to log in to GS in IE 10 and Firefox, but keep getting the captcha message (and the captcha image does not load at all).

The reason I tried logging in with the other browsers is because I can't seem to update my sig in chrome.

I actually installed Firefox just to see if I could log in with that lol.

I've been having problems logging in all morning. It seems I can only log in if I change my password each time.

Same here also, Had to do the Password reset to login too.

I just had the same problem aswell,exactly the same as everyone else and did the password reset....most odd Mr Holmes.!

I have the exact same issue. You guys are lucky though, I can't log into my level 21 account because the email I use has been disabled (long time ago). I had to use my other GS account.

Which means I can't reset the password on the old account

Please fix this ASAP guys, my main account at level 70 can't be accessed unless i'm able to log in normally, because for some reason someone is using the same e-mail address as me, and i end up using someone else's account other than my own when i plug in my e-mail address to log in

It figures. But anyway, I'm not logging out OR clearing cookies until the login glitch is fixed. I don't know what happens if I run out of passwords if I try to log back in but get an issue. Should I change one password to the new one and then change back to the old one? :(angeldeb82

i had the same issue... i reseted my pass and i entered...

The same issue has and a friend of mine that has lost his mail. This is the mail that he uses for the site in order to log in... So he now can't reset the account...

Also he tried to create a new account and he had the same issue with the icon which shows the text you have to write.

Can someone from the admins do somethink about this please?
