I still can't change anything regarding images.

I can't change user picture, profile picture, background, or even upload images at all. It still just leads me back to the top of my edit profile page.

The default avatar is distracting, ugly, and causes all the posts to blend together. Avatars are very important.

Oddly enough our avatars carried over automatically in the comments section on the site.

Exactly. Why just that?
I was one of the beta testers, and it didn't work then either. I wish they would've actually fixed some of the bugs we all reported BEFORE launching the site.

Every time I'm in settings I look at my avatar, when the cursor is over it a message says click to change image, when I click it it just takes me to the top of my settings page. There's no image select button for avatar, but there is for the About Me profile picture, and the signatures, and profile background, but those buttons don't work either.

Comments are still livefyre-powered, so nothing would have needed to be done to those avatars.

I'm also having this problem. Is this a browser issue perhaps, because I'm using FireFox right now.

As far as I can tell it is site related. I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE without any luck - as have others.

Just sit back and hang tight for the time being. Going to be a lot of work to get things going with the amount of traffic.

It's not a browser issue, just a bug. It'll probably be fixed soon.

Same on my end as well. Not really worried about it as it gives me time to make a new one.

More concerned about losing 40% on my level. Still at lvl42, but dropped back down to 40%. Took me weeks, at least 4 to get into the 80's.

It's a broken JavaScript problem, so I don't think it matters what browser you use. It was also reported as broken during the beta, so I'm surprised it wasn't fixed.
