How do I center images with the new WYSIWYG editor?

the "center" tag is no longer accepted. The "div align" tag doesn't work. therefore I can't center images in my blog or my signature.

Another complaint I've is that the new editor adds lots & lots of useless tags in the html source, I'm talking about the unnecessary "p" tags. Adding unnecessary rows between lines & picture. It's not a huge deal, because you can edit the html source and get rid of the unescessary ones. But it sure is an annoying feature of the editor!

I've found that to center images, you use this:
