"EDIT" post never ever works the first time

When I try to edit a post, you aren't ever able to on your first attempt. I am using a Windows 8.1 Surface Pro with the touch integrated browser, but I recall having this problem before as well on the latest IE on Windows 7. If I refresh the page I can sometimes get it to work, but it's quite frustrating.

seems to be ok for me. could be a strange plug-in perhaps? or maybe its because you are technically on a mobile device? have you tried editing a post on a desktop recently? and as far as I can tell, editing the first post on a topic isn't possible at all at the moment.
