The old Gamespot website was so buggy that it wouldn't be able to be fixed at all...The staff considered all the Situations that could have been done. Our current site will be 10 times better over the coming months. We should be getting much better by E3 this year and more data will be released when they are ready
So in a short answer
The old Gamespot is gone even if most of us want it to return
