I figured I'd give this a shot here...why not.
I just created a video in Final Cut Pro X Ver. 10.0 on my MacBook Pro. It's about an hour and 42 minutes long. Tried exporting it as a Quicktime movie file to my desktop- but I don't have the space for it.
My question is- can I get an external hard drive and directly export the movie onto it (as a Quicktime file) once its plugged into my mac? Ive never used an external hard drive before. If so, is there a specific one that I need that is Mac compatible and PC/MAC compatible? Its a training video for my work, and ideally I'd like to store it on one of the Dells there. Either way, it's going to go on YouTube.
