"An error occurred when posting your comment"

This is an error that comes up whenever I try to post or reply to a comment. It's very frustrating. I am using Chrome and I have tried to use safari too with the same result. My profile also says I have made 5 forum posts even though I so far have made none.

@muddrox: Same here. I just joined Gamespot a few minutes ago.

I still am unable to post comments. Why hasn't any sort of gamespot staff addressed this yet?
