Please edit your media query that decides the width of the video player so that it only upscales once the height of the viewport is large enough to accomodate the larger video player.
Videos often don't fit on my screen because it uses the larger player when the window is above a certain height, but it looks ridiculous and could be fixed quickly, improving user experience significantly.
