Exploration - Earth

I started this as per wolverine4262 suggestion in the off-topic section.

Every Sci-fi based in the future is about exploration of space, the ones in the present with the exception of Stargate is normally about the destruction of Earth something that will most likely be a theme in ME3. But as we do not live two century from now I thought that it'd be cool to explore Earth in the Mass Effect future. There is one good question What city would you like to see in this future? I am sure people will suggest where they live or place of birth (Sydney Australia for me). And in the same vein of discussion there are anti alien activists on Earth could that entail missions to protect such citizens? Or even travel to where Sheperd grew up to save any family or friends he may have from a indoctrinated kidnapping to make him back off?

must be a glitch my end

gone past my download limit yesterday things are going to slow. Least till 4th of next month.

The Mako was good but in ME2 I want customisable items. I do not mean that I want a V2000 engine [futuristic V8] or need a mechanics Degree. But Weapons, Colour, Jumping Boosters, Shields, and mods you need to get to places you can't before hand. It'd be cool if you could even at times ditch the wheels and go in boat style. Launched from the Normandy Mk2 to splash into an Oceanic World. With this in mind you could search for treasure with sonar or even dive into the water to a undersea city.

It could be possible! I read some article on ME2 about a month ago which said that there might be swimming in the game.

Thinking about the Normandy after I played StarOcean the Last Hope I began to realise a problem with talking to people on the vessel. I think that the stationary characters of the original must change. If you can find some one get their location off the Normandy Computer. I want to go to mess and talk with Grunt and have one of the others come an join in mid conversation like in real life. In the first i enjoyed the conversations but I think that every one on the Normandy Mk1 got out of an assignment and ran to their favorite spot.Falcon084

That would be interesting. They could make a lot of people could be pissed off if Shepard was pro-alien in the first game as well. We got a hint of the distrust humans and aliens have of each other in the first game and they could play that off on his visit to Earth, especially if Shepard takes some non human crew members down to the surface.

If he goes to earth it has to be in a city with some famous structure so we can see the stark contrast of the two times. Like a high tech NY and the Statue of Liberty in the bg, towering futuristic metal buildings looking over Big Ben in London, or the Sydney Opera House. Something everyone one would recognise that would survive through time.

Unfortunately technically he wont be a spectre due to him being dead, and its a possibility he may already be a captain because in certain situations people get promoted posthumously in recognition of their sacrifice.
