A too-short puzzle game that could have been so much more.

Way, way, way back in my childhood (the 80s!), I played a game called Qix. A simple little game where you have to sequester an increasing amount of the game screen by created boxes with a cursor, while a large object chases you and if it touches the line that you are drawing before you complete a box, you lose a life. It's incredibly simple, quite challenging and a lot of fun.

As you can tell by the title of this game, it's derived from Qix and shares a lot of the gameplay. The detail is increased by incorporated towers that you much capture, along with turrets that you can destroy by activating guns, dragons that chase and shoot and environments that alter the rate at which your knight can move.

The graphics of the game are decent, though not amazing, and there are only a total of a dozen levels or so. On Normal difficulty that game only last about 30-45 minutes (for a Qix veteran), and it's not really that challenging. I found myself wanting to move ahead to the hardest difficulty right away.

There are some Achievements, if you are up for it, but I got most of them during my first play through. I don't think I'll go back to get the rest.

The game is worth a look if it's on a deep discount on Steam.
