For Honor

Real-time fighting games recently have become the newest craze. The genre quickly gained reputation when Assassin's Creed Origins hit the shelves with brand new fighting mechanics. Coming off the tail end of Assassin's Creed, For Honor already had me on board just with the cover. I mean come on, Samurais, Vikings, and Knights all fighting in one huge battle for total power sounds like something straight out of Hollywood. Through my personal play-through of For Honor I felt as though the game is underrated. Granted that first time players won't pick up on the combat controls very quickly, but the game offers so much more beyond difficult combat. I really want to give a special highlight to the multiplayer experience. Every game offers a unique challenge depending on the skill of your opponents. Keep in mind that in these types of games you will encounter broken characters and you have to give the developers the benefit of the doubt. They cannot make every character perfectly balanced and as a result players will utilize those two moves that you just can't block. Never the less its all part of the experience! In addition For Honor features a fairly short campaign but has a pretty good story line and each character is carefully crafted but each have very different playing styles! Find the one that fits your style and battle! For Honor!
