Frustration Manager 2012

User Rating: 6.5 | Football Manager 2012 PC
Same old crap just a new year. Too many injuries, a poor interface, lame match engine, repetitive press conferences, crappy transfer market and economy, too much emphasis on morale and team talks, etc... I could go on forever. The match engine and the transfer market are really the two must improve items needed for me in order to justify buying any future "expansions". The fact that this game dropped down to the $5-7 range within 4-5 months of release says a lot.

What's good? It's a football management game with a lot of data that can be fun for a few seasons before the boredom sets in. Starting out in the bottom tiers of the football leagues and working your way up is the most interesting way to play the game.

Hopefully we'll see a new match engine and some much needed grooming when 2013 comes out but I wouldn't bet on it. Probably just a new facade and some petty feature upgrades.
