This game proves that going with the "flOw" is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

There are a lot of addicting games out there. Namco's Katamari Damacy series. Sony's LocoRoco series, and here's one that's not only calming, but it's addicting as all hell, even after you've beaten all of the levels.

flOw is an addicting game that originally was a flash game, then a PlayStation Network exclusive for the PS3, and now ported to the PSP system, again, via PSN. It feels like you're playing an interactive segment in Disney's Fantasia, due to its music and of course, as the title suggests, the flow of the game. It's very simple to play because as soon as you start it up, it tells you how to play it. Move the organism with the analog stick, press any button (this includes the d-pad) to use special abilities (speed up, camoflauge, etc.), press start to pause, and switch the WLAN switch on at the top of the PSP to have contact with friends via Ad-hoc. There you go. That's the game.

The gameplay is pretty simple, especially for an incredibly short game, and it's easy to pick up and play. In fact, I just described that, so why do I have to repeat myself?

The music is something relevant to a combination of a Pink Floyd song and a segment in Disney's Fantasia (the original, not 2000). It is very psychedelic, and in this case, it's pretty fitting for a calm PlayStation title.

The graphics aren't too similar to the PS3's version, but that's nothing to worry about. Then again, it's on a handheld system. What do you expect? Graphics as equivelant to Valve's Half-Life series? I don't think so.

The only problem that makes this game suffer the most is the length. You can get this game done in at least 1-2 hours, depending on how you play. It is that short, and at a $8 price tag, the game's worth half that.

It is a good game. I'll give it that. But I'd pay $4 for a game that's so short, not $8. However, this game is good to play if you are bored or want something to do in your spare time at a hospital or something.
