Brilliant. Fantastic. My fourth 10/10!

Lets clear a few things up. According to the developer, Flatout UC for the 360 was 'a next gen remake of Flatout 2'. Then, the developer, BugBear, stated that Flatout Heads On was 'a pitch perfect remake of UC' which in theory means that Flatout HO is 'a next gen pitch perfect remake of Flatout 2'. Brilliant!

So whats new? Well there have been serious complaints about the unfair car handling, in the which the developers state its adds more of a challenge, when in a fact its just another pain right up our arses! So finally BugBear realised and gave us a brand new control system which means our cars can actually go round corners without having the annoyance of sliding in a no go zone, such as a non destructable wall.

And this brings us to our next point about the game, everything is destructable. Flatout 2 tried, UC improved, HO completed. The tracks have been reduced in length to make room for absolute destruction, and to make life even better...you car does not always stop when you destruct things. This game is already top notch stuff!

While the graphics front is amazing. The graphics are better than flaming UC and thats on a HD TV 360! It is the first PSP game to feature the most up to date graphics, and it still works on the oldest PSP on the market! You can see every single bit of destruction, every single mark you make on the track, everything you saw on the first lap will be there on the second and third in total detail. Fantastic!

And then theres the modes. Being BugBear, they improved the Ragdoll Mode by making it much easier to score points, while having serious fun doing it. Also a brand new Flatout Career mode, which is much more organised than UC last year, and the Carnage mode which is a mix off some of the best parts of Heads On crammed into action packed challenges. There are also tons of cars to unlock, buy or upgrade. Amazing!

And to top it all off, the soundtrack is an amazing combitation of the best songs from previous Flatout games, and well as brand new stuff. Surprisingly, this game is the best version of Flatout 2 like, ever!. The loading screens are very quick, and take no more than 10 seconds to load a race. Brilliant for the amount stuff you do in the race, and the destruction.

So if you have a PSP and £25 you have got to get it, even if you made a promise not to buy anything before GTA IV, cos this will fill the gap brilliantly, racer or not!

OVERALL - 10 - Just buy the game, no dissappoints anywhere!
