i watch the gameplay by mmohut...its suck at the beginning of the games...this look good anyway...
whats going to hurt this game is they are trying to squeeze square pegs thru round wholes. They want the game to be competitive pvp on an e-sport level, but also want it to have pve content. I think the concept is very ambitious especially the 'medling' part which MMOs have needed for a long time. But so far theres a lot of griping between the pve crowd and the pvp players. I think they would be better off keeping this game primarily pve based but the developers are stuck on making this an e-sport title.
I don't understand this game. Is it an MMO, PVP, or just a singleplayer adventure with some co-op? It looks awesome though.
@PDXmauler97 Given recent trends I would guess it has enough to get players attention with good action aspects and still an utter disappointment, so effectively I would say it is closest to your last guess, a nerfed single player with, if anything, a horrendously rudimentary multiplayer, to the tune of only the worst levels, if any, available for co op. Who ever makes good, full fledged games anymore?

1 Like The next gen will cost as much as a PC in the beginning...so, you might as well buy components to make one..it's not much for a PC that can play this on high graphics Radeon 7750- 100 dollars, AMD A4 40-60 dollars, 4GB RAM 20-30 dollars, ...but if you have a PC for internet the cost will be just the Graphics card and you are good to go.
1 Like the beta IS pretty awesome.. the game looks great and it definitely has an older feel from games in the past. the older feel is that kind of feeling where the game is beautiful to look at, almost relaxing, but then when you group up with people and work together to get ore out of the ground and hold off waves of aliens - especially at night using flashlights - makes the experience visceral and exciting. also there's these jump pads in the town that launch you high into the air, giving you temporary wings. the experience is reminiscent of the flying in Spyro. The cell-shaded world is really pretty and vast, making the few moments of flying very scenic, zen-like and therapeutic before you go into battle and have intense Unreal Tournament-type fun. Best thing of all is it's F2P and they've made it very clear time and time again that they DO NOT want to make this pay2win. They want to base the microtransactions on things like armor color such as digital camo, hair styles, hats etc. much like the pay methods that will be present in Planetside 2 and The War Z. It's hard to get a beta key - i actually bought mine for $10 months ago and even though that sounds dumb, I can't say I regret it. Great game. Can't wait for it to be finished. Hopefully the eSports take off with this game because it's a ton of fun

@tommynj it is beautiful! Sadly though, they have some coding problems because its a completely new engine for MMO between continents...they need some good programmers with a MMO background.
The game looks a LOT better than before. Though there's more and more stuff that reminds me of Borderlands. Is this the one that's influenced by Borderlands?
@Bad_Gamers83 they started making this game way back ...I believe they had a alpha running in 2006....so I don't quite know who influenced who...
people have been cribbing a LOT about the changes and lack of content in this game. let me tell you they have a MASSIVE pve update coming right after pax and its gonna be awesome. damn the staged content approach itself is making me want this so bad
Almost no one liked it when they took away the medic...they could have had a choice of weapons not just one...
