Hope you want a waifu!

Nintendo still has not realized that it's two thousand and effin nineteen and some of people are gay! Just deal with it and get with the times!!! There's only one real m/m relationship option!?! but every opposite sex person can be romanced?! I feel like the one token m/m relationship is there is just so that nobody can say Nintendo is discriminating. This relationship-support systems is by no means a small part of the game either. It matters a lot if your pool or characters to choose from is effectively one and you can't even have him help you out on the battlefield for the first part of the game if you chose a "wrong" house in the beginning. Whereas any straight player can have as much "waifu" as they want. Quite literally every girl in the game!

Another set back compared to the last two installments is the lack of main character's customizability. The only thing you can change is whether you're a boy or a girl. Also is the main character a mute!? All he does is wave his hands and scratch his chin. I haven't heard a beep from him!

Gameplay seems fine tho, but again no way to customize the buttons and the graphics look like it's an upscaled version of a 3DS game. This installment really feels like its several steps back from the previous one and miles away from "Echoes: Shadows of Valentia"

I could only recommend this game to a typical straight player and for any gay person who wants to feel marginalized now in a game too... as if the real world discrimination isn't just quite enough!
