With the constant worry of your soldiers falling in battle this game really makes you analyze your movements more than Advanced Wars. Fire Emblem is also more dark in the color scale compared to Advanced Wars which makes the gameplay feel a little bit more sinister. The main reason in Fire Emblem is that once you lose a soldier, that soldier in turn is gone forever throughout the play through. This makes the player become more attached to the individual characters throughout the game almost making the one play the game grow with the characters aswell. So the strategy becomes more about saving your troops as best as possible and still passing the mission. Overall this game has won me over with the fighting phases and background texture. That's why i have given this game an 8 on my scale
