Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is probably one of the best RPG's you can find for the Gamecube. With an interesting and immersive storyline that gets you to want keep playing to find out what happens next. On top of an interesting plot, the CG cutscenes and regular tie into the game's story perfectly, though some of the cutscenes are long and have alot of text. Overall, Path of Radiance has excellent graphics and a good use of cell-shading, though some graphics can be improved alittle. The game's soundtrack is also another plus for the game, which also helps make the game's story and battles more interesting.
Throughout the game, you'll fight on a variety of battlefields and like the terrain, the different maps can fight on can range fairly easy to kind of hard. To things harder, when your units die, they're gone for good which makes adds to the overall difficulty of Path of Radiance. The units in the game also come in wide variety and usually have likable personalities and decent stats, but this isn't always the case. Due to the many chapters and cutscenes, it will take awhile to beat the game, but it is rewarding. So if you're looking for an excellent RPG that combines plenty of challenges with an interesting, then you should definitely check out Path of Radiance!
