Fire Emblem is one of my favorite games for the G.C. It's the story of some Mercenaries and a boy who strives to be like his father. It really does have a great story and does take some strategy. Once a player dies they are gone for good, which will sometime make you repeat a chapter a few times. Like I said the game is addictive, and each chapter usually take upwards of 20 minutes, while you can save and leave in the middle of a battle I usually play though a chapter before putting the game down. They game gives you many characters to choose from to take into battle, and with several different classes among your army you have quite the choice of how to do battle. Bonus experience is a great way to level up charters you like without having to risk them getting experience in battles where they can perish. The game definitely brought something new, well at least to me, to the table and I have played it several times over. The sequel is just as good but can be quite long, so if you just started playing Fire Emblem for the GC and you know your going to want more, defiantly check out the sequel!
