Nintendo brings the GBA tactics game to Cube in great fashion.

How's it goin'? It took a long time for Nintendo to bring the Fire Emblem franchise from Japan to the U.S. The two installments on the GBA realased in the U.S. were great and the Cube version brings the same tactics RPG flavor. Only now with 3D graphics. It plays the same as any other Fire Emblem, like Shining Force except if one of your compadres dies during battle, he or she is gone for good.

During the game in between battles, there is occasionally a beautiful cutscene, but it should have had more. Most of the time it has pictures of the anime characters with scrolling text. Great if you like to read. If you've played any other Fire Emblem you know what to expect. The story and characters in the game make you feel like you personally know them.

The cutscenes are beautiful, the ingame graphics are pretty good. Great orchestral scores accompany the battles and cutscenes. Easy to pick up and play, even has the tutorial mode to help you if you are an amateur. Can get repettitive though. The more you play, the more stuff to unlock. And throughout the game are hidden items and characters.
