Final Fight is a great arcade game, but the Snes port is completely worthless.

User Rating: 5 | Final Fight SNES
When the Snes came out, Nintendo was heavily touting the fact that this game looked and played almost identically to the arcade game. The characters are big and plentiful, the sound is good and the same simplistic yet satisfying gameplay is present. However, like any good advertising campaign, the things from the arcade that were removed from this game were never mentioned. Lets list them now.

Gone: The red ninja character Guy (thats his name) from the arcade game, he balanced out the tried and true triangle of strong, speed and balanced, but he's not here.

Gone: The entire industrial level, the game is now shorter and less replayable, but maybe that's for the best due to the following thing...

Gone: TWO PLAYER MODE, that's right this is only a one-player game, while playing by yourself, you get really board really fast. You may have some fun with nostalgia of this brain dead gameplay, but the lack of two player makes this game one of the worst beat-em-ups for the system, go play any of the other ones. As a final note, the Arcade game is a really good game and don't let this crummy port besmirch your memory of that.
