Let me first start by saying bravo! All of us that have grown up in the NES era, moved on to SNES, PS, etc etc, with me, one of my first games (besides mairo and duck hunt) were FF1 for the NES, loved it from the start, and was hooked. Over the years though (still being quite young) I sold off or traded my old NES to help buy new games and systems, in the end regretting not having the original copys of these classics (though i have been slowly buying them back) This game has it done right, great story, enjoyable gameplay and fun leveling system. Though it is so basic in graphics and others areas compared to other games today, who of us does not look at these games still today and smile, and consider picking them up and beating them again. How many games that are produced today will have the same effect 20 years from now... not many, but this game has held the test of time. And thank you Sony for releasing it on PS so we can still enjoy it.
