If you like FF, you'll get to see where it started. If you don't, this probably isn't for you, unless you enjoy classics
OKAY, lets get one thing straight. Not only is this a final fantasy game, but it's the original final fantasy. This is a remake. No innovation is being attempted. The game is being sold on pure nostalgia.
So, reviewing the gameplay elements would be arbitrary. It's not like SQE thinks this is a shockingly new combat system that's never been seen before. The combat is fun. Cute. It won't stress you out, and you can play it while on a long drive or waiting in the airport. It's not incredibly high maintenance like your Team Fortress. So pop in FFI and relax.
The graphics look awesome, especially compared to how the game looked before. For someone like me who's played the original over 20 times, the new graphics are insane. The spells are wicked as well. So ya, good lookin' game.
There's really not a lot else to talk about. This isn't a game where your objective is told to you outright. You will spend (in your first play through) a LOT of time running around going WHERE DO I GO? But that's how it was back then. Games were all we had to do, so they were difficult and long. So get over it and play the game. If you can't finish it's because you're n00b sauce.
