Game design does not take into account players that have handicaps.

User Rating: 3.5 | Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm Reborn PC
The designers of this game must think that all gamers have perfect reflexes and reaction time. Some of us are handicapped with slow reflexes or reaction time, which makes questing, in itself, challenging. Trying to run an instance can be extremely difficult and frustrating not only for myself but the other party members. FFXIV 14 forces a player to run instances just to get minor abilities, such as a mount. I am so embarrassed with my poor performance in instances that I avoid them, The ridicule by the other party members does not help. Without being able to get a mount, the game is pretty much over for me at level 20. Not to mention that I paid extra for the game to include a mount. The game runs the player all over the map so the mount is a necessary item. FFXIV was very enjoyable until this point.

World of Warcraft is a perfect example of a game design that allows a person to receive most of the abilities in the game just by questing. Sure the instances give you better armor and fancier mounts, but they are not required. I guess that is why I have enjoyed WOW for literally thousands of hours,

I can not give a good rating for a game that does not take even minor handicapped players into consideration. At the least they could have placed a warming that the game was not designed for "handicapped" players.
