    @ memrie i totally agree i have an xbox 360 cuz I thought it was better thats just my opinion the people that get pissed off at people cuz they like 360s better than PS3s are just dumb cuz most of the time they just nag on it for NO REASON they dont even say y they think that. dont get me wrong the PS3 is a great system if i had 500 bucks i would buy one but i chose to get a 360 first. and the best ff was on a sony system (in my opinion) FF7 was on the original PS

    Boo hoo, my PS3 is going to have a game that also will be on XBOX...

    Boo hoo, they dumbed down FFXIII to help out XBOX, but I can't tell you how I know this...

    Waaaaahhh, I'm the best, your not!

    How about this, get off your parents teat, get a job, and by all the systems so you can enjoy each of their perks? Otherwise, stop b*t*h*n*. The best FF wasn't even on a Sony system anyways.

    does xbox360 have anything even near the greatness of mgs4 or uncharted? i mean even near?? the wii is even closer to such greatness than xbox360 is, dude...
    if ff13 was exclusive on 360, then you guys could say that ps3 is crap. but its on both, so tough luck. enjoy the game and shut up.

    Nope, the game runs on a multiformat game engine (Crystal Tools), and has actually been developed on PCs FIRST (SE said they had it up and running on PC last year). They then port it over to the PS3 and then 360, optimizing the game as required, where the only extra issue for the 360 is multiple DVDs. Just like Epics's Unreal Engine 3, porting between formats is relatively easy, since the game engine doesn't have to be written from scratch. that mean the graphic gonna be the same or even better on the 360 because multiplatform game always look better on 360. accept Dragon Age

    I don't care if you play it on the PS3 or XBOX 360, I'll be playing my ass off out of this. Being playing the Final Fantasy series since SNES. The best series for me, if you ask. Stop the console war and have fun people. God bless.

    Sorry PS3 people, but XBOX is taking over. All PS3 has is MGS4 and Blueray...yawn. Square Enix just wants to make money in a time when people arent making money. I use to be a Playstation person, but they have gone down hill. Their second to Xbox and Nintendo. They will soon go the way of Sega and Atari

    wow, x360 fans are on fire on this thread.
    i am not worried about the ps3 though

    1) x360 sales are down considerably
    2) Games are starting to look better on the ps3, for example, Red Alert 3 and Dragon Age: Origins, etc.

    Last, I know for a fact that FFXIII will look better on the ps3, especially the cut scenes, since the Blu-ray will be able to store more HD video while for the x360 they will have to compress it on the DVD.

    Doesn't really matter if FF is on the 360. FF contains no zombies, the story is actually a story and not some generic boring story with poor voice acting, it take more then 10 hours to beat the story (more like 60-70 hours) and it's not a First Person Shooter. No way 360 fans buy FF as much as PS3 owners. It just sucks that Enix is gonna dumb it down for the 360 for no reason.

    This is ridiculous. The 360 is not as powerful, nor has as much stroage data as the PS3. The diffrence between the 360 and the PS3 compared to the N64 and PS1 is that the N64 was the most technologically advanced hardware; it's just that space limitation which hindered it. It still, however, came out with some of the best games ever made. The 360, however, has released nothing good that isn't already on the PS3 with the exception of Gears of War. That's it. The PS3 has the best exclusives. Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet and Clank, God of War, Uncharted, etc.

    Face it, the PS3 is the stronger system. Square is just releasing the game for the 360 so they can get more sales.

    ... I don't understand... Is it just me or are some ppl really slow in getting their news? I have known since late winter 2008 or early spring of this year that FFXIII was going to be hitting all systems. SquareEnix announced for a very long time that to keep sales figures high they had to consider revoking exclusivity to Sony (considering these tough financial times = Sony does not have money to keep FF a PS3 exclusive).

    @ marcbelhomme - I have heard that rant far too often. It is as shallow and immature as it was when the PS3 came out. I own all 3 "next gen" systems, and from a technology perspective the PS3 hardware is still ahead of the game. That does not mean the 360 is a crappy gaming system. On the contrary it is awesome for gaming. But for being the centre piece of a complete 7.1 Tru-HD home theatre system, the PS3 is still king.

    As for those PS3 people who feel "betrayed", just know that SquareEnix is like the Blizzard of Japan. They work hard on this franchise, and they know they have a lot to live up to (I am sure they will not disappoint). As consolation, from trailers and brief gameplay videos, it looks like this baby is going to play like a movie. Be glad we are blu-ray friendly, since I sure as hell do not want to be switching through 4 DL DVDs for this game (which is an accepted fact of life for 360 users - like a mentally challenged best friend).

    good luck with using ur 360 "for life"dantepower" as the console is very nearing end its life cycle as space/disc issues concern future gaming. As for FFXIII, YES the xbox 360 with it's "disc space limitations" SCREWED the PS3 edition ROYALLY. the game was "ORIGINALLY" meant for free roaming, meaning you can go anywhere like say you want to go back to the very beginning level of the game to explore well now you can't due to the 360 having multiple disc square enix want to keep it ''fair(like 360 has kept ANYTHING fair, COUGH)" so instead of us ps3 owners capatalizing on our CONSOLES ADVANTAGES over the 360 square blends it and makes it where us PS3 users can't go and venture anywhere we want now. It is all staying with theh disc, so if u want to go back to that one spot you visited before you may have to wait until you are on the third disc to re venture that area. KILLS a game LITERALLY to hear things like that... Amongst a TON of other stuff the 360 edition ruined, and i just don't get why the 360 has to keep getting inthe way of "Progress" as it keeps holding the potential of future gaming back. Microsoft should just throw the 360 away and make SOMETHING more future-like competitive, because all of a sudden in few years microsoft could drop 360 owners like flies if they found/find better ways to market revune.
