the disappointment of the year

This was my first FF ever and unfortunately I must say it was a huge disappointment. To start with I didn't buy the game. My husband is a fun of FF and waited for XIII for long time. He bought it just after it appeared. We paid equality of almost $100 (here in CH games prices are crazy). He spent 2 h gaming, got furious and switched off the ps3. So, I had to play it just for not wasting money. Wasn't worth it. The plot is so complicated you have no idea who is who, what is going on, even where you are and where go to. A lot of names of places sounding empty and confusing. I had to look in the Net for the explanation. The characters are just simply annoying and it is difficult to like them. Some of them are in the time for difficult to guess reason. Maybe the graphic is ok, but to be honest it is not perfect. The main heroin has square shoulders. One might expect more from such title like FF. The monsters that you fight with didn't vary much. Just change of colours. Cheap trick. But the most annoying was that path that you have to stay on. No way to explore the world. No quests - just marching with hope that there is end soon. But no. False hope. By the end of the game you get round 60 tasks to kill some creatures. You can finish the game and then go to those tasks – pure levelling without purpose. More like prolonging dying. And that repetitive music playing on your nerves. On and on and on. For sue I wont play FF XIII again
