When I first heard of Final Fantasy XIII, I didn't really care for it. I never played any FF game before and the only time I ever saw or heard the series was from my friend's sister who loved them. When I read the review in Gameinformer, I was impressed, but I still didn't care for it. I just thought it would be boring in my opinion. So last weekend, I went to Gamestop and bought it (along with LEGO Batman and Pure) for 39.99 thanks to its Powersaver week. I gotta say this game shocked me entirely. Lets begin.

Pros: Phenomenal environments, Extremely impressive graphics, Very deep story and character development, Challenging and easy at times, Makes you strategize

Cons: Sometimes too hard, Difficult to get money, Really hard to keep up with story

Final Fantasy XIII completely surprised me. I never expected to get this game and enjoy it. The story is VERY complicated. You will have to read alot if you want to understand it all, but it's worth it. This game adds challenge as well as nice customization and beautiful cutscenes. Square Enix really cared about how the look and gameplay. That's why it has 3 discs with it! If you are curious and skeptical, rent it, if you are a fan of Final Fantasy, definetely check it out. I bet you'll love it. And since XIV is coming out soon, dont miss out of XIII.
