some people say you need to upgrade Entite Ring to Goddess's Favor and then dismantle it for a ribbon but do you need to fully upgrade Goddess's Favor? to get a ribbon? when you dismantle it or just turn it into a Goddess's Favor and dismantle it to get a ribbon?

Entite Ring ----> Goddess Favor (Upgrade) -----Max Level Dismantle ----> Ribbon

My interpretation of reality is different than yours. Don't destroy my reality, even if it is a fantasy.

you should only ever dismantle something, once it's Star'd.

things that aren't worth dismantling, should be sold at their lvl 1 version, if you need the gil. (and of course don't need the item/upgrade/dismantle that comes from it.)

I have all three items without having to upgrade the Entite Ring first. As long as you open all treasure spheres and do all 64 missions you'll have all three for sure. I don't recall where/how I got each one, but it's one of the few you don't have to upgrade for. Same with the charms and 20-side dice.

You get at least 1 Ribbon during normal gameplay already. If you need more, the flowering cactuar in the Titan Trials drop those randomly as well (level D1?). Even a fully upgraded Super Ribbon, though, only gives you 30% resistance to status ailments. Not really worth it in my opinion...
