mmm, getting slightly more interested in the game now, but that cheesy pop song that comes up in every advert still keeps putting me off, lol.

I think the FF series has been quite anime since FF7. XIII was just aimed at the west more... and why the hell they keep doing that when the west bought more of their games when they weren't aimed here, is a mystery.

To be fair it could just be that we're all getting on a bit now and the games are still aimed at the demographic we're leaving. But yeah I would like to see something like that, some of the best characters have been the older ones, like Auron.

I don't think I will get this. FF is not what it used to be. Everything is directed to you in a straight path. Why can't they reflect back to FF7 or 8. Hell even FF1 is better than this @#$@

This game series got even more Anime. I remember FFX was all around, had a more RPG feel to it for everyone. Now its just... well Anime gone 3D

I think that it's time for a mature/adult-oriented FF game to come our way. Having the same old, same old teen rated experience, over and over again, prevents a lot of creative freedom from coming into the franchise. Just how does Square Enix plan to continue to hit its competition hard, particularly its western RPG counterparts? Or are JRPGs and Japanese games, for that matter, doomed to offer little innovation or changes, from sequel to sequel?

since the game is out by next tuesday in usa, is GS's review going to be posted before friday? in europe FFXIII-2 will be out only friday, so i would like to take a look at what GS has to say about it.

would be interesting to have some things like that as dlc, kinda like the Tri-Ace games and their secret dungeons... But sadly since this is aimed at people new to the series it'll probably just be new costumes and whatnot, kinda like the second Dissidia game was meant to have dlc, people expected new characters and got a few costumes at release.

i dont know im sure that they have fix some of FF XIII problems but still dint they release it too soon? plus i dont think they can capture the magic anymore of their FF8 ff6 ff7 coz they missing important ppl plus and they have change direction from ff 10

Here is some most likely true rumors. This game ends with a to be continued and that there might be a third one ; p I'm wondering if they think that kingdom hearts can do it so can this game. This game is going to have DLC too, another maybe good thing hopefully they don't keep stuff out of the story because they want people to download the extra stuff though. In this game we might be able fight old FF characters like Sephiroth, Kefka, and other old FF bosses in the coliseum which I would definitely like to see in high graphics.

FFXIII was pretty disappointing for most long time FF fans, but considering Squares long list of successes of the past they might be able to surprise us, hopefully.
