Just a name and HD graphics, with poor (ridiculous) systems and bad "actors".

User Rating: 3 | Final Fantasy XIII-2 PS3
+ graphics
+ some musics

+ or - ? : Story (didn't like it but I can't say)

- everything else

There's absolutely nothing to do in fight.
5 second to buff everyone, 5 second to debuff all the enemies (bosses) and then you hit with the 2 pitiful "jobs".
There's no choice anywhere, the 2 only characters are the same and have the same attacks (ridiculous low number of attacks)

The only thing that change is whether you use 1 element or another to make slightly more damage and physical or magical damage.
But 2 different attacks for commando "job" and 4 different magics with ravager "job" is just ridiculous.
2-3 hours and you've already seen everything.
Enemi "resistance" should be a small thing, here it's everything (and also quite a small thing too).

The monsters could have been a good idea if you were not forced to use only 3 monsters.
And if you add the fact that they also have the same (ridiculous number of) attacks, it's worth laughing.

The side quests are not even side quests because you have to do every quest in order to have the real ending.
Anyway, fights are so easy and useless that it's more interesting to just run and look at the graphics.

The animation is "well done" but the way characters move when they talk is absolutely grotesque.
It's like watching a show with pitifull actors.
Fortunately, it's not always like this, but it is often.
Noel for example always turn arround while talking and it doesn't make sense.

If you love the story then you're lucky.
I can't.
It's a bad Final Fantasy and a bad Rpg.
It's not even a good movie.

I didn't like FF 12 that much, but was a masterpiece compared to this one.

I'm not some fanboy, hater or anything else, I just like to use my brain a little and have fun when playing.
If you want time travelling game with interesting systems take Radiant Historia or Chrono Trigger.
